At Ember Ridge Rhodesian Ridgebacks, we don’t just breed dogs, we raise family. Our journey began with one exceptional Ridgeback named Zion and a vision to do things the right way: ethically, intentionally, and with deep respect for the breed's legacy.

We’re a family-based breeder nestled in North Texas, raising Ridgebacks in the heart of our home and the rhythm of our daily life. Our dogs are never sidelined, they’re part of everything we do. From trail walks to playtime with our kids, they’re integrated into our lives because we believe how a dog is raised matters just as much as what they’re bred for.

We maintain a toxin-free home, use only filtered water for our animals, and feed a completely homemade, species-appropriate diet — no kibble, ever. Our dogs enjoy nutrient-rich meals made from whole foods, including fresh eggs from our free-range backyard chickens, organic meats, and thoughtfully chosen superfoods. Because the foundation of a healthy dog starts long before they go home with you — it starts with us.

Our litters are intentionally limited so we can give each pup the time, attention, and enrichment they deserve. We use early neurological stimulation (ENS), exposure to kids, animals, sounds, and routines to help our puppies grow into confident, resilient, and emotionally intelligent companions.
